On the 23rd and 24th of January 2024, the My Sweet Smart Home consortium met in Athens (Greece), hosted by the Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of Disabled People “To Ergastiri”.
In this fruitful in-person meeting partners could define some details about the content development of the e-learning platform and the next steps to follow for the piloting phase.
The main project objective is to improve the independence and autonomy of people with disabilities, in order to give them the possibility to live a safe, healthy, comfortable and stimulating life in their own homes.
The consortium had the great oppotunity to know the reality of To Ergastiri, together with the diversity of practical and recreational activities to which users have the opportunity to participate in their Day Care Center, apart from knowing the operation of the Supported Living Houses, that promote the independence and autonomy of the people who inhabit them.
This visit was very useful for the partners, as they have extracted very valuable information about a good practice about the social inclusion and participation of people with different types of disabilities.
The next step is to complete the e-learning platform and start with the pilot test phase, so do not miss any news of the project by following their social networks on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
